Born and raised in New Jersey, Carl learned to work with his hands and build from his Hungarian-American parents, who were superintendents at the apartment where we grew up. They instilled in him a work ethic and respect for customers. He raised his own family in New Jersey and built his own masonry business from scratch immediately after high school. Eventually, once his own kids were out of the house, he moved to Long Island and started his business fresh again - making time on the weekends for fishing and cooking his catch.
